Production Specification
Holes, slots, square and irregular shape holes with a size tolerance less than 0.10mm requires a go/no-go plug gage. Go/No-Go gages to be marked as follows: gage pins and feeler gages must be stamped Go/No-Go along with the sizes (mm), the handle must be color coded on the respective ends.
The color code shall be green for the "Go" end, and red for the "No-Go" end. The pin must also be identified to the area(s) checked on the gage. Holes with size tolerances greater than .10mm will be checked with calipers. The plug gage is to be mounted into the fixture base unless part size or shape doesn’t allow for proper usage.
